Dr.Lisa Jutras Dr Lisa Jutras was born in Miami, Florida. She attended the University of Florida where she received both her Bachelor of Science (Zoology) and her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (with Honors) degrees. Following graduation she worked in both an emergency clinic and at a private pratice before opening a clinic in Sebastian in 1995. In December of 2005 Dr. Lisa opened St. Francis Animal Hospital in Vero Beach. In December 2008 she was certified in Veterinary Acupuncture by the Chi Institute of Traditional Veterinary Medicine. When she is not at the hospital, she can usually be found with her 2 children, her fiance, 2 dogs, 2 cats, 2 birds, and a rabbit. |

Tammy- Lead Technician Tammy has been employed at St. Francis since December 2005. She has worked professionally side by side with Veterinarians and other medical professionals since 2001.Her knowledge base extends outside of what most practices offer, including Horses, Rodents, Reptiles, Avians, Ovine/Bovine. These having been part of her life for so long allows her to expand her medical knowledge and be able to better serve our clients with medical needs and questions.She is currently a member of D.A.R.T. (Disaster Animal Response Team)and enjoys the opportunity to direct and assist in disaster situations. She continues to learn and obtain certificates and credit hours in addition to attending seminars monthly to keep herself up to date on the latest technology and treatment options and ways to help recognize diseases of pets. She has two Chinese Crested puppies named Bugsy and Fenek. |

Michael- Technician / Safety Coordinator Mike has worked at St. Francis since 2005. He is one of our technicians, and our Safety Coordinator.He has an extensive background in Emergency Care and has been in the field since 2001. He enjoys working with exotics, birds, and small animals. He is currently a member of D.A.R.T. (Disaster Animal Response Team).He shares his home with his two rescue cats Boo and Timmy. Boo was rescued from a parking lot about 8 years ago, and Timmy was found roaming around in the FL Keys. |

Vanessa- Technician/Receptionist Vanessa is the newest member of our team! She has been with us since November 2010, but has been in this field since 2004. she graduated in 2005 with her Tech Degree, she also has an extensive background in Pratice Management. She has a 12 yr old dog named Dakota and a 4 yr old horse named Eclipse, and a 17 month old Frenchie named Mr. Big! She has a true passion for her job and enjoys working with our patients and clients! |

Helen- Receptionist Helen is our Lead Receptionist. She has been with St. Francis since January 2006. She shares her home with her 3 dogs. All of her dogs came into her family thru a rescue situation. She is very willing to help with scheduling all your pets needs!
