DENTAL CLEANINGS ARE A FULL ANESTHETIC PROCEDURE WHICH REQUIRE A PREOPERATIVE EXAMINATION AND BLOOD WORK IS REQUIRED.

WHAT TO EXPECT:

YOUR FURRAMILY MEMBER WILL NEED TO BE DROPPED OFF WITH US BETWEEN 8AM AND 8:30AM FASTED (NO FOOD AFTER MIDNIGHT, WATER IS FINE UP UNTIL SURGERY)

WE RUN YOUR PET/S BLOOD WORK THE MORNING OF SURGERY, IF ALL LOOKS GOOD THEN WE PROCEED WITH PLACING AND IV CATHETER AND PLACE THE SURGICAL PATIENT ON THEIR IV FLUID THERAPY AND THEY GET THEIR PREOPERATIVE MEDICATIONS.

A ROUTINE DENTAL PROCEDURE TAKES ABOUT 1HR. WE DO A DEEP SCALING, POLISH, AND THEN APPLY A FLUORIDE TREATMENT.

YOU'RE CALLED ONCE THE PATIENT IS IN RECOVERY. AT THAT TIME WE MAKE A DISCHARGE APPOINTMENT WITH YOU TO PICK UP YOUR PET/S AND GO OVER OUR FINDINGS AND POST OPERATIVE AT HOME CARE.
